Penny Darlings is run by Alison Atkin, specialising in (but not limited to) anatomical and historical themed jewellery - with a particular focus on bespoke designs.
All pieces are drawn freehand and each piece created is unique.
All jewellery is made of light-weight shrinkable plastic and finished with silver-plated findings or coloured cotton thread with silver-plated findings. Every piece is sealed against wear with a matt varnish and any fragile designs are reinforced.
When not making scientifically accurate (or not-accurate but still adorable) jewellery Alison is an osteoarchaeologist who researches medieval plague victims. Neat, huh? You can follow Alison on Twitter here: @alisonatkin
